The new 1685m2 Woolworths, which opened on Wednesday 30 April 2008, will offer fashionable clothing, shoes and accessories for the family, Woolworths legendary homeware and the finest foods. There will also be a café where shoppers can take a break and enjoy a cup of organically grown coffee, light meals and other refreshments, as well as a Woolworths connect counter offering the latest in cell phones, GPS systems and more. Woolworths Mooiriver Mall will be making a difference to the local community in other ways as well. The store has formed a supportive partnership with Boitshoko Secondary School and has already handed over a cheque for R5000. Woolworths Mooiriver Mall will regularly supply Boitshoko Secondary School with surplus food.
