WOOLWORTHS TO LAUNCH ‘EVERYDAY LUXURY’ CLOTHING BRAND.
February 6, 2009
Woolworths customers can look forward to Trenery, an exclusive range of timeless clothing that will be available in selected stores from August this year. Designed by iconic Australian retailer Country Road, the range aims to redefine premium fashion. While Country Road appeals to a Modern/Contemporary customer, Trenery will appeal to a Woolworths classic customer who wants to look and feel good in “everyday luxury”. Country Road will manage the brand including design and production from Melbourne, Australia. Country Road has developed the expertise to successfully manage premium brands. The launch of Trenery follows the successful introduction of the Country Road brand in selected Woolworths stores in April 2008. The Trenery range will include clothing and accessories for both men and women and will be available in 16 Woolworths stores from August 2009. Ends Note to editor: Woolworths secured a controlling interest in Country Road, Australia in 1998.
