Woolworths Has Improved Our Boerwors Recipe, And Just In Time For MasterChef South Africa
March 1, 2012
Nothing says “South Africa” like the traditional, beloved South African braai. And with MasterChef South Africa now on our screens, we hope to see some delicious boerewors sizzling on the coals. As the proud food sponsor, Woolworths is delighted to announce that we’ve made improvements to our boerewors recipes so now they’re packed with more of the South African flavours we all know and love. We asked our customers exactly what they think makes a great boerewors – and we listened. Our new, deliciously plump boerewors is made with the finest roasted coriander, nutmeg and cloves, has a great texture and includes just enough fat so it bursts with mouth-watering meaty flavour and juiciness. And with so many different varieties on offer – from free range beef boerewors to our delicious Grabouw boerewors – there’s a wide choice when it comes to serving up South Africa’s favourite fare. Inside this hamper you’ll find a selection of our new recipe boerewors so you can try it for yourself. Watch MasterChef SA on M-Net and M-Net HD every Tuesday at 19:30, starting on 20 March 2012.
